Natalie Italiano has studied at Studio Incamminati since its inception in 2002. In addition to her studies with Nelson Shanks, Natalie has studied with notable affiliated faculty Jon deMartin, Robert Liberace, Ted Seth Jacobs, Anthony Ryder and Michael Grimaldi at Studio Incamminati.
Natalie teaches Still Life Drawing in the Studio Incamminati Professional Program and has assisted in the Portfolio Program. She is an instructor in the Nelson Shanks Intensive Painting Workshop at Studio Incamminati and instructed at Shanks’ workshops at the Armory Arts Center in West Palm Beach, FL, and at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. She has participated in Studio Incamminati group exhibitions at the Chauncey Conference Center in Princeton, NJ, and the annual Philadelphia Open Studio Tour exhibition at Studio Incamminati. Her works are in the Larry and Anne Hall Collection and the collections of Mr. & Mrs. R. Mooney, Mr. & Mrs. J. Paneyko, Mr. & Mrs. James R. Abbott and Ms. Gloria Evangelista.
Natalie has a Teaching Certificate from the Moore College of Art (2000), a B.A. from Rowan University (1989), and a Certificate from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (1979). Her early studies began with an apprenticeship with Nelson Shanks in the 70’s.
Natalie has been awarded the Portrait Society of America National Conference Scholarship (2005), the Recognition Award for Contribution to the Arts, Haddonfield, NJ, and a Scholarship to the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts.
